Events are listed in the order they happen, not in the order an algorithm prefers. The filter bar above the list is how you narrow that down to the ones you care about.
Events in the top bar opens the list, and no account is needed to read it - a visitor sees the same events. Each entry carries the date, the title, where it is and who is coming. The filter bar sits above the list on desktop; on a phone the list is shown without it.
Narrow the list
Set Just upcoming and press Filter. The past drops away and what is left is what you can still attend.
Open the event
The detail page has the full description, the location with its map, the people already coming, and the comments under it.
Say that you are coming
Add me puts you on the list. RSVP and your calendar covers the rest, including guests and the calendar file.
Two shortcuts worth knowing
Subscribe at the bottom of the events page hands your calendar app a live feed, so new events turn up there without you checking the site. A Featured button appears next to the filter bar as well, but only when the organizers have marked some past events as memorable; with none marked, the button is not there.
