Free — First 100 Groups

Zero cost. All features. No credit card required. The free tier exists to bootstrap the platform and let early communities demonstrate its value. The first 100 groups are free forever, not just for a trial period.

€1 / month — Groups 101 to 1,000

Groups 101 through 1,000 pay €1/month (or €10/year — two months free). Early adopters are grandfathered at the rate they signed up at. If your group is among the first 100, it stays free.

~€2 / month — Groups 1,001 and above

Scale pricing. The exact amount is TBD — the goal is to keep costs below €2/month even at scale. We will announce specific pricing well in advance for this tier.

Annual Billing (Recommended)

Pay Annually, Get Two Months Free

Annual billing dramatically reduces payment processing overhead. At the €1/month price point, monthly billing results in ~27% of revenue going to payment fees. Annual billing reduces this to ~4%. We pass this saving directly to you: €10/year instead of €12 (two months free). It's also simpler for everyone — one transaction per year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the free tier time-limited?

No. The first 100 groups are free forever. This is not a trial. There is no expiry date.

Will prices go up?

Pricing for early adopters is grandfathered. If you join at €1/month, you stay at €1/month. We may introduce higher tiers for future features, but existing groups will not see their price increase.

What payment methods are supported?

Payments are processed by Mollie (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Supported methods include: iDEAL, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), SEPA direct debit, Bancontact, and other EU-first payment methods.

Can I self-host instead of paying?

Yes. The core is open source under the EUPL. Self-hosting requires a Linux server with PHP 8.4, MySQL, and a web server. There is no licence fee for self-hosting. See the Open Source page for details.

What if I want to leave?

Export your data at any time from the group settings. The export includes all events, member data, and CMS pages in a portable format. You can import this directly into a self-hosted MeetAgain instance. No lock-in. No export fees.
